Tanzanite

Tanzanite, a blue-violet variety of zoisite, is only found in Tanzania near Mount Kilimanjaro. Known for its striking colour and brilliance, Tanzanite was discovered as recently as 1967, making it one of the youngest gemstones in modern gemology.
